1) It's mentioned that Rion is mute for psychological reasons—Why is that? When did this come about? We would like a brief expansion on his mutism, since it seems to be important to the character, but was not explained.
2) What is the role of magic for Rion? Since it's stated that magic exists in his world (if rare), why is this of note? Does Rion use magic? We would like to know how the magical aspect of his world relates to him.
