FIRST PERSON SAMPLE: Here! THIRD PERSON SAMPLE Marta sneaked a peek beyond the curtain hesitantly, trying to estimate exactly how many people were in the audience tonight. She wasn't usually one to be nervous or shy, but this was an actual performance. The last time she danced publicly she was doing a ritual to summon and lure a specific monster. If she had been then were a bit more justifiable, considering she was basically getting ready for a potential fight, but she was confident that Emil and the others would take care of things before it got too dangerous; she felt safe. Here? She was pretty much on her own. Taking a deep breath, she steadied herself as she prepared to step out onto the stage and into the spotlight.
It wasn't too bad, all things considered. Dancing wasn't hard, and honestly, she actually kind of liked it. Even if the class wasn't as offensively physical as others, it felt natural to her, like all those leaps and spins she usually did were already a kind of dancing. She only wished she could show Emil; for all her practicing, she was sure she could show Emil an amazing dance!
Actually performing, on the other hand. The guildmaster was an eccentric person from the one time she met him, and the outfits for tonight's performance said as much. Marta was no stranger when it came to clothes, but did this really need to show so much skin? On top of that, she was going to be under the scrutiny of a bunch of strangers. She could almost groan at the thought—well the reality, if the sudden applause was any cue. It was just about her time to step out of the curtains.
But a mission was a mission, and if Marta was going to go home, she was going to get home as fast as possible. The only way to do that was to get as good as she was going to get, and a mission like this was perfect to practice her new skills. Slapping her cheeks, Marta put on a confident, determined smile, and stepped out into the spotlight.
