For more on abilities and subclassing, see this entry. The differing background colors of the table represent different classes/subclasses—The darkest is the character's main class, and the subsequent colors are their subclasses.
If you would like to use this table to keep track of your character's abilities, here is the code:

Evoke: Caster evokes elemental aspect of the spirit called, e.g. calling a water spirit will create water out of nowhere. Duration is instantaneous. Effectiveness increases as caster goes up in rank. |
Summon: Materializes a spirit to fight for the caster. Rank of spirit summoned is dependent on the rank of the caster. May last up to an hour or until caster's magical energy is nearly depleted. |
Enchant: Enchants target with elemental aspect of the spirit called, e.g. a rock enchanted by an air spirit will float or fall slowly. Duration and effectiveness increase as caster goes up in rank. |
Cibus pro Spiritum: To pay tribute to the spirit of the caster's choice, they consume an element to power up their next magic spell, e.g. a fire spirit can be powered up by eating fire. |
Impetro: Caster can call a spirit to keep or retrieve an item for them from the astral plane. Does not work on living beings, undead or large structures. |
Spiritus Pactum: Caster creates a pact with an elemental spirit, temporarily endowing them with the spirit's magical powers. Lasts for an hour. Can only be used once a month. |
Palaeography: Read, write, speak and understand ancient languages. Useful in solving castle puzzles. | Monster Specialization: Knowledge on a specific monster type comes to the user easily. |
Entangling Thorns: Call upon thorny vines to latch onto a target, causing damage and limiting mobility until they're removed. | Bloom: While outside, will gradually heal the character's wounds. If they don't have any, will slightly increase defensive power. |
Death's Sickle: Grants great knowledge of how to concoct poisons and toxins as well as granting immunity to poisons. | Unspell: A spell that allows the caster to temporarily strip the target of their abilities. It doesn't last long, so strike quickly! |
